Must be the best mom in the world!

All I can say is I must be one special mom because Joe gave me the green light last night to get the Canon Digital Rebel XTi that I have been drooling over for forever! Click Camera had a special that if you buy the camera (with the 18-55mm lens) and a memory card you got the 75-300mm lens for $1! Couldn't pass up such a good deal! Plus, I got $30 free digi prints and 2 free classes. I found it online a little cheaper but with the free stuff and the idea that I can take it to the store if something goes wrong, I decided to go with Click.

Here she is, isn't she beautiful?

Here is my card for Amy's Sunday Sketch challenge. I started it on Sunday but couldn't finish it till this morning because I was out and about last night.

  • Happy Everything (SU), Martini glass (Scraptrends flexible stamps) <----JoAnn's has these sets on clearance for $5! Love the barbeque one this one is in!
  • Paper Studio DP
  • ZIG markers
  • SU flower punch
  • rhinestones, stickles, pop dots

This adorable card was sent to me from Julie Masse along with lots of Bella images we traded! Haven't got a chance to use them yet but I will!

Had to show a close up of the sand that she put on the card. Isn't that the coolest idea!?

This one was sent to me from Rose Ann along with more Bella images! Am I a lucky gal or what!? This card makes me want to get the SU kits! I love it!

On another note, voting for round 2 has started for Paper Crafts Gallery Idol! Here is the link to the cards and here is the link to the voting!

I had fun making this one! Don't forget to vote for your favorite!!

Ok...I'm seriously drooling. Congratulations on your new camera. If I didn't love ya, I'd have to hate you. LOL

I just voted for you again! LOVE your card! If I were you, I wouldn't be too ashamed to put the voting reminder as a post all by itself! You don't want people to forget and you just barely mentioned it in this post. Just a thought! Your card is featured on their website too! That's a good sign!

Ohh I am with Amy...If I didn't Luv ya I'd have to hate ya. I would so-oo-oo love to get my hands on one of those. I keep telling my DH that when the youngest goes to school I am getting a kick butt camera & taking some courses for it! Congrats girlfriend!!!

Yay Heidi!!! I'm so happy that you got your camera! That's totally awesome, girl!

Love your card too...nice colors. Cheers!

I love Julie's Bella card! Wow...sand and everything.

And mine...well...cased. But I loved it when I saw it in the Stampin' Success.

Oh you lucky duck! My husband and I have been wanting this camera as well. Have fun with it!

Oh ... I wanted to add a movie line, but since I already won a blog candy from you, I didn't want to put my name in that post. Given the state of my home, this fits us perfectly...from Little Mermaid, "You want thingamabobs? I've got 20!"

I gave this set as a wedding gift this week. SO I hope they get tons of gorgeous photos-they are touring the Civil War Battle Fields for their honeymoon.

Heidi, I think I am getting this camera for Xmas! I love the photos you've taken with it. While I don't think I'll be getting that awesome lens (I'll be getting the lens that comes in the kit), I am already setting my sights on lenses next! Do you have any tips for using the Canon Rebel XTi? I'd love to see more updates on your photography blog!
