Tea Party #12!
Good afternoon all! I can't believe that we have done 12 smARTworks Tea Parties so far! I have had so much fun with these! This week Trish challenged us with an inspiration piece! We could take whatever inspired us from this picture.
Pretty huh? Wouldn't mind having that hanging up in my living room! So, I decided to take the colors from the picture and work from there. This weekend we had a slew of ladybugs come out and my kids were so happy to see them and catch them! I felt like I just had to do a ladybug card! Here is my end result.
- STAMPS- Ladybugs Lg., Combo Companion (smARTworks)
- PAPER- Chocolate Chip, kraft
- INK- Colorbox Dark Brown, Versamagic Cloud White
- OTHER- Copic red marker, white brads, edge distresser, ribbon

I took the kids out to a local place yesterday that has houses and barns like the 1800's (we go there quite a bit in the summer) and I just have to share this pic of Clinton chasing a chicken! I thought it was just too cute!
Well, I'll have some cards to share with you guys tomorrow, so see you then! Have a great day!

Cute card - haven't seen any ladybugs here yet! And you have a very cute chicken chaser there :)
Still too cold for ladybugs here in Maine, but they're always a cheerful addition on a card... Maybe it's because they never seem like "bugs" to me... They just look "happy."
Cute card, Heidi! See, that's why I love inspiration challenges...it's always fun to see all the different takes on the original design.
I like your card. We have a place like that around here too. It's called The Jensen's Farm. It has old houses to go through and a blacksmith shop. I love the picture of the chicken chase.
Love the little lady bug card. Too cute!
Cute ladybug card, and I love the picture of the chicken chase...lol!! (I think this could be re-created on a card with Beebo chasing one of the chickens from the Doodle Factory set.)
